Before anyone thinks I'm far along in this I've come across a problem and wonder if anyone else has as well...

I brought my sin char over, landed in the docks like usual and proceeded to start running around. I've explored most of the starter island and Kourna, but have 1 problem. The area SE (?) of Chakbek (sp) Village (where a NF char first starts with the tutorial) is locked and I can't seem to get access to it. I imagine this will count towards cartographer as I thought it did in Factions. Has anyone been able to get out there or can anyone say that it isn't counted towards cartographer titles?

um, like the other chapters there is some built in leeway I'd guess so the tutorial area won't be a critical factor just make it easier.

I think if you do the first mission then it will give you map coverage there... cannot confirm it though since I cannnot play atm.

Just enter Churrhir Fields from Kamadan.

Then go to the gate to Chakbek Village and talk to the historian or lore guy there and he will give you access to Chakbek Village.

All the gates are open.

If you look at my 100% map, you'll notice I haven't explored the noob area. It just means you have to be more complete in the rest of the map.
